THE SHORT ANSWER

Choose a plan by the models, review workload and credit use needed for representative projects; compare the full annual payment before using the monthly equivalent as a budget.

Official getimg.ai logo above an original editorial diagram of an annual visual-production budget and different credit-consuming tasks.

getimg.ai combines image creation, image editing and video tools under a credit-based subscription. That makes it flexible for a publisher or small business that needs several kinds of visual work in the same month. The best plan depends on the models and settings you use, how many drafts you review and which pieces become finished assets.

A credit allowance is therefore a production budget rather than a fixed image count. This guide uses the annual pricing view checked on 15 October 2026, then explains how to turn those plan figures into a practical workflow. The full annual payment and the monthly credit allowance do different jobs in that decision.

UltraUS$149 per monthUS$1,788, excluding tax107,500
Annual selector reviewed on 15 October 2026. These monthly equivalents describe yearly billing; confirm the selected term and final checkout total.

At the Entry annual rate, US$15 per month means a listed US$180 yearly subscription payment, excluding tax. It does not establish that the same offer is payable in twelve separate monthly instalments. Compare the full commitment with the projects you expect to complete during the year and check the checkout’s final amount.

Keep the annual subscription payment beside the monthly credit renewal. The FAQ describes credit refreshes around the subscription’s monthly anniversary, rather than a universal first-of-month reset. Paying for a year does not mean every monthly credit allowance is available to spend on the first day.

Plan access matters as well as the credit total

PlanModel access listedGenerations at onceUpscaling limit listed

CoreAll models48K
PlusAll models816K
UltraAll models1016K
These are subscription-plan references. Individual model settings and tool availability still need to match the intended job.

A larger balance is useful only if the plan also gives you the models and workflow you need. Entry provides access to selected models; Core and the higher tiers list all models. If one particular visual or motion task is essential, check its availability before choosing the cheapest tier.

More simultaneous generations can shorten a production queue, but they also produce more work to inspect. A solo publisher may benefit more from a clear selection process than from opening many variations at once. Upscaling can help prepare a chosen image for a larger placement, yet it cannot guarantee that invented details or a distorted logo become accurate.

A credit is not one identical output

getimg.ai says the cost of an action depends on the selected model and settings, with the required credits displayed before generation. Read that figure before committing a batch. A small image draft, a larger edit and a motion clip can have different costs; there is no reliable universal conversion from credits to finished campaign assets.

For a simple planning example, imagine that the chosen action displays a cost of 40 credits and you intend to try six variations. That experiment would require 240 credits if each action keeps that displayed cost. The number is illustrative, not a current tariff for a named model. Add any later edits, upscales or video generations separately.

Budget around accepted assets as well as attempted generations. If six drafts produce one useful image, that review outcome is part of your real production cost. A better brief and a smaller deliberate batch can make the allowance go further than repeatedly changing prompts without a clear acceptance criterion.

Use a representative project to estimate the month

  • List the outputs needed: article covers, edited photographs, campaign variants or short clips.
  • Choose the likely model and settings for one representative task and read the displayed credit cost.
  • Allow for a realistic number of drafts, targeted revisions and final upscales.
  • Record the credits used for the accepted asset and the time spent reviewing it.
  • Multiply that observed workflow by the planned monthly output, then leave room for variation.
  • Check when the subscription’s monthly credit period renews before scheduling a large batch.

Keep a separate line for experiments. A publisher exploring a new visual style may use more drafts than one following an established composition. That difference is a sensible reason to start with a smaller project, approve a direction and expand it. It also gives you a clearer reason to upgrade later.

Keep image-to-video and the API in the right budget

The current image-to-video page describes a paid-plan tool with no free preview. Duration, resolution, references and other options vary by model. Before scheduling several clips, inspect the selected model and the displayed cost for the exact action. Do not estimate the video programme by copying the credit count from a still-image workflow.

The API is separately priced and is not included in the ordinary web subscription allowance, according to the FAQ. If you want to automate production inside another system, build a distinct API budget and review its current terms. A web plan can be useful for an editor’s workflow without covering the cost of an automated integration.

Do not rely on a future top-up to fix the wrong plan

Confirm top-up eligibility in the actual account before depending on it. Pricing-card labels are broader than the FAQ, which describes Plus and Ultra top-ups after the balance falls below 10%. Choose an allowance that fits the planned work; do not budget Entry or Core on an assumed expansion route.

The refund policy also needs to be read before a long commitment. Its reviewed conditions require fewer than 100 credits used and a request within three days of subscription start or renewal, with discounted and promotional plans excluded. Cancellation is a separate action: the cancellation policy describes access continuing through the paid term before moving to the free plan. Do not treat cancelling an annual plan as a general refund promise.

Choose capacity for a workflow you can review

Entry is a useful starting comparison for a modest schedule that fits its selected models. Core becomes more attractive when access to all models, more credits or a higher simultaneous-generation limit serves the work. Plus and Ultra support larger production volumes, provided you also have the review capacity to turn those attempts into accurate, usable material.

getimg.ai’s appeal is the ability to move between different visual tasks while keeping an explicit credit budget. Make that flexibility work for you: define the asset, inspect the action cost, review a representative result and choose the subscription that supports the month you actually plan to run.
